FoldMe Driver Terms and Conditions

1. Introduction

Welcome to FoldMe! These Terms and Conditions govern your use of the FoldMe Driver Application (the "FoldMe Driver App") and your engagement as an independent contractor for FoldMe laundry pick-up and delivery services.

2. Acceptance of Terms

By using the Driver App, you agree to be bound by these Terms and Conditions. If you do not agree with any part of these terms, please do not use the Driver App.

3. Independent Contractor Status

You acknowledge that you are an independent contractor and not an employee of FoldMe. You are responsible for all your tax and insurance obligations.

4. Use of the Driver App

a. The Driver App is to be used solely for the purpose of receiving and managing laundry pick-up and delivery orders. b. You agree to use the Driver App responsibly and legally.

5. Payment

a. You will be paid a fixed amount per completed trip as previously agreed upon. b. Payments will be processed weekly every Thursday. c. Any disputes regarding payment must be raised within a reasonable time frame.

6. Duties and Responsibilities

a. You are responsible for safely and timely picking up and delivering laundry as per the orders received on the Driver App. b. You must accurately weigh the laundry at pick-up and enter the required details into the Driver App. c. You are responsible for collecting payments (cash or online) and handing over cash collections to the designated laundry post.

7. Equipment and Supplies

FoldMe will provide you with the necessary equipment, such as a scale and laundry bag. You are responsible for the safekeeping and proper use of these items.

8. Liability and Insurance

You are responsible for obtaining appropriate insurance. FoldMe is not liable for any accidents, injuries, or damages that occur while you are performing your duties.

9. Termination

FoldMe reserves the right to terminate your access to the Driver App for breach of these Terms and Conditions, misconduct, or any other lawful reason.

10. Amendments

FoldMe reserves the right to amend these Terms and Conditions at any time. Continued use of the Driver App after changes signifies your acceptance of the new terms.

11. Governing Law

These Terms and Conditions shall be governed by the laws of South Africa.
